A group of wireless industry veterans have chosen Mobile World Congress 2014 as the backdrop for announcing a new innovative solution. Cirrus Core Networks, aka CCN, today announced the launch of its Infrastructure as a Service managed solution consisting of LTE packet core, IMS/VoLTE and an application/content delivery ecosystem. The comprehensive offering is completely Network Functions Virtualization (NFV) based. “When we set about forming CCN, we wanted to create a service that was simple, flexible, feature rich, and low cost.
